[K] So true ! I know we all have (very) mixed feelings about Ilene Chaiken’s brain child, but I must admit: I just started re-watching The L Word from the beginning and already feel the old obsession slowly crawling back into my life… or actually not that slowly, I’m hooked yet again and have so far made the following observations:
- Season 1 was better than I remembered! Yeah! (My memory is clouded by the horridity of Season Six obviously)
- OMG - the amount of straight sex in Season 1? No!! Why are there always dudes present/watching when the girls are getting it on?
That’s probably the one thing that got better over time (as opposed to the writing/character continuity. No, wait… character continuity already started its downward spiral with Marina’s story) - Whatever: I love it… seems like another phase I won’t grow out of
